Why nominate your house
We are not looking for the biggest department. We are looking for the houses with a story worth telling β the run that changed the city, the tradition nobody outside the bay knows about, the crew that shows up every shift without a headline.
Your history, preserved
Firehouse history lives in the memories of the crew and fades when they move on. A coin and a patch keep it in hand, on a wall, and in the record.
Seen by 1,780+ collectors
Your house lands in the hands of members across the country, each one with the story of your station on the collector card in the box.
Designed with your crew
Nothing ships without your approval. We work from your artwork, your traditions, and your details until the set carries the house properly.
Costs your house nothing
No fee, no obligation, no catch. We handle design, tooling, and production. Your house gets the recognition and a set of its own.
From nomination to shipment
No mystery, no runaround. Here is exactly what happens after you hit submit, and roughly how long each stage takes.
- 01Takes about 5 minutes
Submit the nomination
Fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us the house, the unit, and why it deserves the spotlight. Photos and artwork help, but you can send those later.
- 02Typically 1β2 weeks
We review and reach out
Our crew reads every nomination. If your house is a fit, we contact your point of contact directly to confirm the details and get approval from the right people.
- 03Around 2β3 weeks
Design and approval
We draft the coin and patch from your artwork, insignia, and traditions. You review the proofs and request changes. Nothing moves forward until your house signs off.
- 04Roughly 6β8 weeks
Into production
Approved designs go to the die makers and embroiderers. Enamel is poured, threads are stitched, and we write the collector card that carries your house history.
- 05On your feature month
Your month ships
Your set ships to every member and your house is added to the Featured Firehouses wall with its own page. Your crew receives sets of their own to keep.
What to have ready
Do not let a missing detail stop you from submitting. Send what you have and we will chase the rest together.
A point of contact
Someone at the house who can answer questions and approve the final design.
The house history
Founding year, nicknames, notable runs, traditions β anything that makes the house what it is.
Existing artwork
Your patch, logo, or insignia in the best quality you have. A clear photo works if that is all there is.
Photos of the house
The bay, the rig, the crew, the front of the station. These carry the story on the page and the collector card.
Helpful, but not required
- Approval from your chief or union rep, if your department requires it
- The story behind any nickname or mascot
- Anniversary or memorial dates that matter to the house
- A rough count of members, if your crew wants sets of their own
Nominating a house you do not serve at is welcome. Plenty of our best features started with a collector pointing us toward a station worth honoring.
Houses already on the wall
Every one of these started as a nomination.
Straight answers
- Does it cost the firehouse anything?
- No. There is no fee to nominate and no cost to your house at any stage. We cover design, tooling, and production. Your house receives sets of its own coin and patch.
- Can I nominate a house I do not work at?
- Absolutely. Collectors, family members, and retired members nominate houses all the time. We will simply need a contact at the station so we can confirm details and get approval before anything is produced.
- How long does the whole process take?
- From submission to shipment usually runs three to five months, most of it in design approval and production. We keep your point of contact updated at every stage rather than leaving you guessing.
- What happens if our house is not selected?
- Nominations stay on file. We feature one house a month and the list is long, so a house passed over this year is often featured later. Nothing is thrown away.
